Sehn­sucht führt über das eige­ne begrenz­te Ich hin­aus und rela­ti­viert die Pro­ble­me, mit denen wir um her­um-schla­gen. Sie befreit vom Zwang, alles Schö­ne und Erfreu­li­che fest­hal­ten zu müs­sen. Wir kön­nen uns dar­an freu­en, aber auch wie­der davon tren­nen. Sehn­sucht macht uns fähig, mit­ten in den Kon­flik­ten des Lebens gelas­sen zu blei­ben. Was unse­re Erwar­tun­gen nicht erfüllt, ver­mag die Sehn-sucht zu ver­tie­fen. Nicht Fru­stra­ti­on und Trau­rig­keit sind dann die Kon­se­quenz, son­dern inne­re Frei­heit und Zuver­sicht. Alles, was quer­läuft, kann dem, der sei­ner Sehn­sucht traut, sei­ne Lie­be und Lie­bens­wür­dig­keit nicht rau­ben. Es wird sie nur stär­ken und ver­tie­fen. [1]
