    Selbst­dis­zi­plin bedeu­tet, bewusst zu tun, was wir wirk­lich tun wol­len, anstatt uns unse­ren Nei­gun­gen lei­ten zu las­sen. Weit­blick hilft uns, Selbst­dis­zi­plin zu ent­wickeln. Sie stärkt unse­ren Wil­len durch­zu­hal­ten und hilft uns, kurz­fri­stig Befind­lich­kei­ten zugun­sten lang­fri­sti­ger Zie­le zu über­win­den. Die Selbst­dis­zi­plin schützt uns davor, Din­ge zu sagen oder zu tun, die wir spä­ter bereu­en. Dafür sind wir uns selbst gegen­über wach­sam und ehr­lich. Selbst­dis­zi­plin gibt uns die Frei­heit, nach unse­ren Wert­vor­stel­lun­gen zu leben. Wir sind fähig, schlech­te Gewohn­hei­ten zu ver­än­dern und gute zu pfle­gen. Selbst­dis­zi­plin hilft uns, Träu­me zu ver­wirk­li­chen. [1]
