Die Lust­be­frie­di­gung gehört  zu den vier Grund­be­dürf­nis­sen, wobei Lust und Unlust im engen Zusam­men­hang ste­hen und wesent­li­cher Bestand­teil des Moti­va­ti­ons­sy­stems sind. Es ist über­le­bens­wich­tig, dass wir mit Lust und Unlust in ange­mes­se­ner Wei­se umzu­ge­hen wis­sen und ler­nen. Die Erzie­hung besteht im Wesent­li­chen dar­aus, einen gesun­den Umgang zu ver­mit­teln, wel­cher die Fähig­kei­ten zur Fru­sta­ti­ons­to­le­ranz, zum Beloh­nungs­auf­schub und zum Trieb­ver­zicht beinhal­tet.
